Winter White

While in the middle of a work project, I lifted my head to look out the window from my dining table. The stillness of the fresh fallen snow gently stopped me in my tracks…. how wonderful, and quiet, and perfect. What a lovely distraction. 12/2021

WINTER WHITE

Gleaming white crisp snow

Elegantly blankets the floor of the field

Quiets the senses

Slows down the pace

Fresh white on white

Reflects a delicate blue horizon

Against the backdrop of dusted trees

Peering through a clear glass frame

Simple, perfect, pristine.

This chilled brisk scene

Gently warms my heart,

and invites me to rest....in its stillness.
